MAK Provides Free Health Diagnostics to Over 900 Local Residents

As part of its commitment to social responsibility, Mongolyn Alt (MAK) LLC organized a "Health Day" event across five sub-districts to provide vital health check-ups and diagnostics that are often inaccessible to local communities. From November 9 to 19, in collaboration with the Mongolian Prevention & Diagnostic Clinic and the E-Monos drug e-commerce platform, MAK facilitated free health examinations for over 900 residents from Mandakh and Dalanjargalan in Dundgovi Province, Delgerkhangai and Bayanjargalan in Dundgovi Province, and Gurvantes in Umnugovi Province.

The initiative included five types of diagnostic services: abdominal ultrasound, blood sugar testing, mineral analysis, osteoporosis screening, and general body index assessments. These were conducted by a team of professional doctors to ensure comprehensive care.

Key findings from the event revealed significant health concerns in the community:

  • 85% of participants were diagnosed with osteoporosis.

  • 73% were found to have mineral deficiencies.

  • Serious conditions were identified, including 7 cases of liver cancer, 1 case of kidney cancer, and 5 cases of acne, with patients advised to seek immediate specialized care.

  • Gallstones were detected in approximately 30% of all participants, while 27 individuals were diagnosed with kidney stones.

MAK's "Health Day" highlights the company's dedication to improving the well-being of local communities by addressing critical healthcare gaps and raising awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and preventive care.

Doctors Highlight Common Health Risks and the Importance of Preventive Care

Health professionals have cautioned that liver, kidney, gallbladder, and pancreas diseases are prevalent among local citizens. These conditions may be influenced by factors such as the composition of local drinking water and traditional dietary habits. To mitigate these risks, it is crucial for individuals to enhance their health literacy, adopt healthier eating habits, and prioritize regular check-ups and diagnostics.

Mongolyn Alt (MAK) LLC remains steadfast in its commitment to social responsibility, implementing projects and programs focused on education, sports, and healthcare. Building on the success of initiatives like "Health Day," the company plans to continue offering health examinations and diagnostics to support the well-being of local communities.

In the past, MAK has invested in community development by constructing schools, kindergartens, and boarding facilities meeting international standards in the regions where it operates. To date, the company has successfully completed over 100 social responsibility projects, with a total investment exceeding 50 billion MNT. MAK’s enduring dedication to these efforts underscores its mission to create a lasting positive impact on the communities it serves.
